About Us
Braveheart Guest House is a Victorian terrace town house built in 1814 and is located within easy walking distance of the heart of this lovely city and most interesting historic city. 
It is just 300 yard far from the Kings Theatre. and about ten to fifteen minutes walk from The Royal Mile, Famous Grass Market, Rock Castle and lively Princes Street. The Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) is a short walk just only five to six minutes walk away through Edinburgh Quay (the Union Canal Basin).
The Braveheart city centre Guest House has been in the same ownership for over ten years and your hosts, Azad Murdochy have a wealth of experience to serve you look after you to make sure you have enjoy your holiday.
Braveheart Guest House operates to two star ratting and offering clean comfortable accommodation at a reasonable or cheap rate. Most of rooms have en-suite shower and toilet facilities, digital flat TV and few with free view, courtesy trays, hairdryer and ironing boards.
The Braveheart is totally non smoking throughout but for those who do smoke the front garden offers a pleasant refresh. Wifi access is available at no charge. Braveheart City Centre Guest House is open all year.
We are classed as a City Centre Guest House EH3 and in easy walking distance to most places of interest. Dogs are not allow unfortunately.
We operate in a modern and professional manner- a year-round guesthouse. You will receive a key to the guesthouse and your room which gives you full access during your stay; there is no 'locking-up' time at night, and no period when you must vacate during the day between nights that you are staying.
Our breakfast room is large enough to accommodate all guests at once and is not used for any other purpose. Limited parking facilities are available - please ask prior arrival. Car Parking in any City Centre is always difficult and/or expensive. Free daytime on-street parking does not exist anywhere in central Edinburgh.
We can offer limited FREE car parking which needs to be reserved in advance. We also have secure arrangements for Motorbikes. Lothian Bus number 10 from Princes Street and number 27 from Hanover St/The Mound/North Bridge (Royal Mile) stop right outside our road 200 yard from our door. Many further services run across the end of Gilmore Place, less than a one minute walk away. See 'directions' for more detail.
